Skate-a-rama!!

What’s up, it’s Patience. I was so excited for our first photo group get together!! Yeah, it was last month, but its taken us a little bit of time to get the blog up and rolling. So, here’s some of my favorite pics from that morning. It was FREEZING and we were trying to focus on shutter speed. I loved taking these action shots of my nephew jumping off the bar thingy.
Canon 24-135 lens with settings at f/5.0, 1/1250, ISO 200…
Fast shutter speed captures action, right?

I also snagged one of Garrett barely on the tip of the board…
A little overexposed…
Settings at f/10.0, 1/160, ISO 400 (I shoulda put the ISO down to like 100 or 200)
My shutter speed was slower, but I had my focus on “servo” which locks your subject but you have to follow your kid closely…
Oh, and I added a “seventies” action in photoshop.
